  • Most programs are built for skaters and then modified for the goalies with some random hip mobility drills and call it “goalie-specific”. Likewise, most goalies don’t prioritize strength & conditioning because someone told them that flexibility and vision training is the only way to improve skills, which leads to a slow physical breakdown over the course of the season, and eventually, frail and fragile hips/groins and a loss of confidence (or a starting spot) because of it. We thoughtfully plan and execute progressive, holistic training programs that keep you healthy, explosive, and durable when others are slowly breaking down. We understand the unique demands of the position through years of training goalies at all levels, and because of that can provide the framework, guidance, and tools you need to dominate the crease

  • Flexible - some services are paid up front because if I’m going to commit to planning and designing your offseason plan for example, I need to know you’re fully committed to executing that plan at a mature level.

    Others are month-to-month, because I also understand that an athletic career comes with rapid changes, such as in the middle of a season (traded, injuries, etc.).

    Real Talk: It’s not cheap to work with me because I’m a professional, so If you’re overly concerned about price and not ready to make an investment in your health, performance, and career longevity, we aren’t going to be a good fit

  • We offer remote & in-person training specifically for hockey goalies. In-Person training is done in Roseville, MN and Remote Training is delivered via the TrainHeroic app, scheduled video calls, and regular voice/text messaging.

    I help you be healthy, flexible, explosive/reactive, and strong under fatigue while in the crease…your goalie coach helps you stop the actual pucks.

  • A huge part of the position is being flexible enough, on demand, to stop the puck in weird positions, over and over again. We stretch a ton, but we also resistance train at deep/lengthened positions SO THAT those muscles and joints don’t snap/tweak/dislocate when they get there at those speeds and under fatigue - I call it “Strong-Mobility”.

    I want you to be able to get to any position you need to, and be STRONG, FAST, and PAIN-FREE in those positions, without thinking/hesitation. If your attention is anywhere except the game (because you’re worried about groin tightness, etc.), your game is going to suffer.

    So we train smart, we train hard, and we train like a goalie SHOULD. We lay a solid, unshakeable foundation of multiple qualities over time (mobility, explosive power, strength, conditioning, and breathing/vision control), because you fall to the level of your preparation/foundation.
